How to Size a Coverlet: To help you choose a quilt or coverlet to fit your bed, understand there is no standardization in mattress thicknesses or bed heights. There are, however, standard mattress widths and lengths and these dimensions can help you determine the ‘drop’ of the bed covering over the edge of your mattress.

Twin: 38" x 75"   Double:  54" x 75"   Queen: 60" x 80"   King: 76" x 80"

To determine the ‘drop’ subtract the width of your mattress from the dimension given for each of our bed coverings. Example:  a 60” queen mattress width from a 90” wide quilt leaving you 30” or a 15”  drop.
