In 2017 Cultural Cloth with again team up with Multicolores as they offer their tour of Guatemala and rug hooking workshop with Mayan artisans.  The workshop will run from Feb 24 through March 5.  The tour is limited to 17 participants and last year it was filled in May, almost 8 months before the event.  The tour is open to rug hookers of all skill levels.

Participants will get a chance to:

• Make their own hand hooked rug using the traditional Mayan motifs and the local materials
• Get to know artisans and spend time with them in their homes
• Travel around Guatemala and learn about the rich textile and handicraft traditions in Guatemala
