Hand dyed cotton shawl using a traditional dye technique called Bandhani (tie dye). Very small dots of the cloth are tied with string to resist the dye. The white fabric is then dyed with natural indigo. The shawl has a interesting puckered texture due to the dye process. This lightweight cotton can be worn a a scarf too. A very nice weight for all seasons. 100% cotton.
Caution: Indigo will rub off a bit onto your clothing. Wear accordingly.
Size: approx. 36" x 67” with a pompom fringe.
Care: dry clean to retain the texture.
