Hand dyed silk scarf using the Bandhani and the clamp and dye technique. Bandhani (tie dye) is a traditional dye technique where very small dots of the cloth are tied with string to resist the dye. The scarf has sections of Bandhani with sections of clamp and dyed. This combination makes for a beautiful and interesting scarf. Colors: bluish grey, black and white. The scarf has a interesting puckered texture due to the dye process. A very nice weight for all seasons. 100% silk.
