Fabulous bird embroidery from the village of Santiago Atitlan. This re-purposed textile has amazing detailed birds stitched by hand. The cloth is white bands woven chalky indigo. The birds are in blues, teals, black, greens, grey and some metallic silver. The leaves and branches are greens and browns. There is a horizontal embroidered band in indigo blue, turquoise and pale teal. The back and piping are teal colored linen. Embroidery this fine is hard to find. Hidden zipper with 90-10 feather/down pillow insert. Great large bolster pillow.
