This basket is handwoven from sustainably harvested raw cane. It was traditionally used hold grain. The collective, which is led by a woman, is in the Buhera region of eastern Zimbabwe. This basket has an amazing fluid shape and it is large enough to be an accent piece that gets noticed. The classic raw cane has a warm neutral earth tone that has texture and visual interest. It is fun to look at. Each basket is unique. Allow for variations.
