Handcrafted by women artisans from the Batoro tribe living in the very rural mountains of Western Uganda. These weaves are a part of a cooperative that provides training to single mothers. widows, and other marginalized women. Made from all natural, sustainably sourced raffia and banana fibers. Very sturdy. It comes with a hanger for wall mounting but works as a great tabletop basket too. Colors: rust, black, red brown, wheat and cream. Design may vary slightly as each is hand made.
