Fine handwoven shawl or throw with stitched patterns throughout. Stunning design and beautiful quality. These are made by artisans of the Dhebaria Rabari community, part of the Qasab cooperative of over 1500 rural artisans from 11 ethnic communities. The Tassar silk has beautiful variations of cream to light tan. The stitching is silver grey. The ends have 4" border with appliqué and stitching. Border embroidery and appliqué in cocoa, greenish grey and pinkish tan. We've visited this group several times while in India. We are in love with these soft, lightweight shawls. They can be used as a shawl, throw or bed scarf.
