Handwoven natural dyed organic cotton bedspread. We purchased this from a small group of weavers while traveling in Gujarat. The fine pattern woven is made with a very pale peachy rust yarn, natural dyed. The main cloth is a natural white. There is a very thin batting inside. Reversible with similar patterns on each side. The quilt is stitched with rows of fine hand stitching about every 2" apart, and the finished edge is also hand stitched.
Organic cotton is a big benefit to the environment because there are no dangerous chemicals used and it uses much less water to grow. Read more about this weaving group on our blog. This is so soft and so beautiful. The detail has the truest color.
