This handwoven rug has a border around of charcoal and creamy white flat weave with many interesting patterns woven in. The center is a hand knotted pile wool abstract design. The pile is 1/2" tall. This is a very unusual rug. We've seen a few of these while traveling in the high Atlas Mountains. Colors of the pile: dusty rose, saffron, mustard, cream, pale peach, indigo blue, chalky brick, faded red, camel, olive and black. There is a braided 3" fringe on one end and the sides have loose fringe of the yarns of the border. Beautiful on the floor or the wall. 100% wool.
