So-called tribal rug used to adorn -and warm- tents of semi-nomadic herdsmen. This charming vintage rug is from a cooperative in southern Morocco and has been mended (see small repair, detail #1) and has plenty of life remaining. Flat woven with stripes and twill patterns, the border and other design elements are knotted in a short-napped pile. Colors: cream, deep dark chocolate black-brown, indigo, chalky brick, muted golds, blushed dusty rose, taupe grey-brown.
