Pile rugs are luxurious to walk on … these one-of-a-kind rugs are made on a vertical loom that is stretched with the warp or vertical threads.  Then tufts  of wool or cotton are hand tied to the warp threads to make the soft pile.  Each rug is made up of thousands of knots. They can take months to make.
