Handwoven Cotton Lightweight Coverlet Bed Spread India (90" x 104")

Our guide brought us to Shyamji’s studio located down a dusty cow-path in Bhuj, the western part of the Kutch. Inside the family compound, women spun wool and cotton. The rhythmic ‘clack clack clack’ of the loom provided the soundscape. We fell in love with the hand spun skeins of cotton and on the spot designed these contemporary and timeless summer-weight coverlets. Woven exclusively for Cultural Cloth. On a queen size mattress the drop on the sides is 15 and on a full size mattress the drip is 18". This makes a beautiful table cloth also.
