Jamdani weaving is labor intensive and a symbol of identity and dignity and is so important to the Bengali culture that it’s been placed on the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list. Master weavers work in additional weft threads to create the striped and blocky patterns. This mid-weight cotton scarf has a beautiful soft ‘hand’ and a luxurious drape; it represents some of the finest hand weaving we are privileged to represent.

Colors: indigo blue with squares in light blue, brass, copper, white, and wheat. Metallic thread through scarf and at each end.
