This gossamer scarf is of Eri Silk and cotton.  Eri Silk is often called Peaceful Silk, since the silk is processed without killing the silk worms that spin the thread.  This cream colored scarf features a beautiful woven subtle pattern (see detail shot).  The scarf is diaphanous and light.  It is cooling in the summer and warming in the fall and winter.  We have recently started to carry items from this group in India where 85% of the employees are women and the lives of 20,000 families have been improved by the work of this organization.
