Description

Soft hand spun and natural dyed hand woven Alpaca throw from weavers in Sallac, a tiny village in Peru who are among the finest backstrap loom weavers in the world. This has flat weave and brocade weave. A medley of sumptuous natural dyed yarns. Colors: burgundy, moss green, teal, evergreen, heathered pale blue and natural.  Stripes of colors with six bands of intricate brocade weaving. Colors of bands: white, evergreen, burgundy, moss green, red orange and mustard. Super soft and of the finest quality.

The tubular woven edge around all 4 sides is called chichilla. It is woven after finishing the main weaving it is woven into the border attaching to one direction with the weft it is to protect the border and embellish the textile. The finest quality.
