We were fortunate to be able to watch this complex batik process while visiting his studio. This is a medium weight handwoven cotton with a 10" subtle woven pattern at each end. Colors: terra cotta and creamy white. The woven pattern color is a light pinkish terra cotta. The batik process gives a crackle pattern in parts and the block printed designs have soft edges. Natural indigo dyed. This can be worn as a large scarf and would also make a beautiful curtain.
